Investment: Compact high performance lathe to ensure exceptional surface finish

UFAB Shanghai has invested in a MAZAK Quick Turn 150 L/500. It is a high performance conventional lathe, with the new control system SmoothC, which ensures exceptional surface finish. The machine can quickly be adjusted and will increase our ability to manage items with low volumes, in an efficient way. It can handle items up to 300 mm in diameter and has a turning length of 580 mm.

Later during the summer, we will announce additional investments that will allow us to take greater steps towards producing complicated turned products. The investments we are making, are to strengthen our position in China as well as to attract new customers both domestic and foreign.
